The Consumer Crypto Report covers the growth of the web3 industry and highlights web3 apps, developers, and consumer trends in 2023.
Sharing insights and making it fun
Web3 development and growth reports in the past focused heavily on blockchain developers. This project was an opportunity to showcase the state of the industry with insights into viral apps, and to make it an exciting experience reading the report.
Users who input their email gained access to mint an NFT created for the crypto report. Stylized UI elements linked to games and projects mentioned in the report, inviting users to try different web3 apps for themselves.
My role and process
I developed the visual direction and designed the landing page and report design for the project.
For the art style, I was inspired by classic Mac OS and Windows design systems. I wanted to capture the same excitement for the internet in the 2000s, but this time with the new applications in the web3 space. I combined 3D rendered elements and pink, purple colours to tie in thirdweb's brand.
I collaborated directly with the Marketing Lead, Growth Lead and Engineer to develop the download flow for the landing page.
